IO2OI stands for ‚input output to output input‘ and is an audiovisual combination work. Visual textures were generated from a serial mouse gesture documentation and these in turn were filtered and translated into sound art samples. The corresponding title text was taken from a press database, according to specific parameters. The mouse gesture scripts also represent asemic writing in which subtonal layers are hidden. IO2OI tries to make these visible and audible. This series is the material basis for a larger visual sound poetry work.
