The visual textures in this publication emerged from an ongoing, serial documentation of mouse movements. These recorded mouse gestures function like a form of writing that cannot be “read” in the conventional sense: an asemic script without fixed meaning. Within it, subtle, subliminal layers are embedded — subtonal strata that are not immediately visible but contribute to the image as an underlying structure and mood. It is therfore no coincidence that these textures resemble the flight of flies or sparrows.
